The new Cadillac CT6 is finally here, and it was unveiled at this year New York Auto Show. The CT6 is similar in size to European luxury cars, and with its length and wheelbase is basically the same with those of a BMW 7 Series short-wheelbase. But, due to its aluminum-intensive platform, the model weighs less than the BMW 5 Series. Will the Cadillac’s strategy show good results in long terms, remains to be seen, but the 2016 Cadillac CT6 seems to be a promising vehicle.

The new Cadillac CT6 luxury sedan comes with a well pronounced dash-to-axle ratio and a short front overhang, which underlines the car’s RWD and classic luxury-vehicle proportions. The front end looks like it has been carved out of one piece, while the characteristic grille is fitted in between the upright boomerang shaped LED headlights. When taking a look at the sides of the vehicle, you can notice that they are more common-looking, the greenhouse especially. Also, the back end is characteristic contemporary Cadillac style, while no extra lines break the otherwise clean and square design.
